Founded in 2005, Padang Relief Society is committed to assist the most vulnerable communities in South Sudan. Named PADANG, which is the Dinka (South Sudanese tribal language) word for different peoples coming together to fulfill a common goal.
Padang Relief Society is a registered Canadian charitable organization based in Vancouver in Canada with field office in Malakal in South Sudan. Besides, Padang Relief Society is legally registered as the local organization with the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs in South Sudan.
Padang Relief Society has been actively assisting the people of South Sudan since 2005. As one of the local humanitarian organization in the region, Padang Relief Society has a strong reputation for community development programs. Funding comes from the people of goodwill, churches, donors and partners.
